I am trying to get xmame working with my KnoppMyth, but every time I try to scan for roms, the computer says "this version of xmame not supported". This is interesting because I am using the xmame that came with KnoppMyth!

Well, I am trying to debug the problem, but I need proper logs to do this. I tried loading mythbackend and mythfrontend both with "verbose" and "all", but nothing of value is there. I am also checking /var/log/messages and I can't find anything there either.

I looked through the messageboards to no avail. Does anyone know how to debug a problem like this? My guess is that some bad variable is being passed to the xmame in commandline, but xmame is not handling it.
