Hi Everyone,
First of all thanks to all those involved in Knoppmyth. It's a great project, ive just converted over what was my Windows HTPC.. now ive got some problems setting her up that i hope you all can help with.

When doing the backend configuration section, after creating a new source with 'New Zealand' as the XMLTV grab type and exiting that screen the config app locks up. The system still functions, just that app.

As a result I dont think that the database is being configured correctly... when i go into the front end and select the program schedule the app crashes.

When I go to mythweb i get...

Fatal Error at /usr/share/mythtv/mythweb/includes/mythbackend.php, line 17:
Unable to connect to mythbackend, is it running?

The system administrator has been notified and the problem will be remedied shortly.

Does any one know how to get around this?

Thanks,
Adam.

most likely you are just not waiting long enough. That particular part of the setup appears to lockup while it is retreving the channels. I killed it a couple of times myself when I first started using mythtv.

Yeah... i found the 'mythfilldatabase' command and performed it that way. It took awhile and now pulls down the data.

There is still nothing displaying in the TV Programme Guide or MythWeb though?
