I must be missing something, cause I can get TV-OUT working with a nice picture and sound if I run it without running X. And I can get X working on the TV-OUT. I even have my system booting up into X and showing up on TV-OUT, but when I try to watch live TV I get no picture and no sound. If I tail -f /var/log/messages, the only error message I get is "Out of free frame buffers" Another thing. I can record TV and when I select the recording it shows up in the preview window, but it will not play. It actually crashes MythTV. I really want to get this working. Hope someone can help. I know this may not help too much.. but I just followed the directions verbatim from the post in this forum.. let me try and find it.... http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1057 there ya go.. hope this helps. I am currently trying to tackle the 350 also. TV play is fine.. but now I'm on to DVD playback... pain in the royal ace's eh? lol.. good luck man.. keep us posted. I plan on releasing an ISO of my HD if I ever get this damn thing working.. =-) -Cody |

did you check the use pvr350 hardware tvout in the mythtv setup>tv>playback section? |
