Installed R5F1 (auto install) and the installation was ok, no errors during the setup process. Remove the CD and reboot and only a black screen stating "L 40 40 40 40..." where the 40 comes once every ten seconds. Nothing more happens.

Any idea where to start error searching? I tried to disable all unused things in the bios without luck, also tried installed 3times.

AMD 64 X2 on a MSI Nvidia motherbord.

Found a 80Gb Sata drive that i installed, Bios found it correctly. Reading the Pamphlet i should select "manual install" and "Select partition and create 3 partitions using cfdisk". I do this and select my hd, but pressing next i get a "Fatal error: Bad Primary partition 1: Partition ends after end-of-disk. Press any key to exit cfdisk."

Any ideas where to start my error search is welcome

Auto install now works on a SATA. I installed F1 with auto. Don't know if that would help.

Yes, it works. Thx

Amazing product! I can see and record tv!

went to a computer shop, bought a new computer with a AMD X2 proc, MSI bord with built in 6150 nvidia card, 1Gb mem, PVR500 card, mini atx box with 350W, samsung 22" monitor, BTC wireless keybord, everything without checking hardware first

dont know anything about linux but read little about mythtv on the web
burn the cd from my laptop, boot the new pc with the cd
replacing faulty hd (not mythv fault) and 20min conf i can see tv

fun!!
