Sorry , confusing subject line. Still having issues here. Is there a windows manager program in KnoppMyth? If not am I just missing something with Xterm? My mouse can't move or resize a window. I looked at Xfree webiste. Says in latest version there is something for a security fix "allow windows ops" ? I think that may have something to do with the situation but so far not sure and couldn't find much else. It's a big pain to not have the flexibility of moving the windows around. Stuart Ambient |

???? Thanks StuartAmbient Look in /etc/X11/fvwm and rename system.fvwm2rc to system.fvwm2rc.bak and rename system.fvwm2rc.orig to system.fvwm2rc and then reboot. |

Thanks StuartAmbient Look in /etc/X11/fvwm and rename system.fvwm2rc to system.fvwm2rc.bak and rename system.fvwm2rc.orig to system.fvwm2rc and then reboot. Sorry to say that didn't work. After that failed, I went a step further and put a sample in there and did a major edit, uncommenting most of the stuff for resize, placement. Still major change. The only thing was the xterms were not opening on top of each other. Stuart |

A nice addition for R5 would be to just enable the window resize, move & scrollbars options in fvwm. Pete |
