(NOOB) How do I configure MythTv Input Connections to capture the Firewire output? |

I discovered how to add Firewire as a capture card. My configuration parameters may not be correct. Positive signs: Somehow my channel database got filled with ALL the Comcast channels. I have xmltvids for all 500 channles. When I started mythbackend , my Comcast box switched to Channel 3, which is the start channel, configured in Input Connections. So the default channel change command worked. I have yet to download and build the 6200ch code. Negative: When I go to WatchTV, Card0 pops up(no picture), I hit Y to change capture cards to Firewire, the screen goes completely black ,then Iafter 3 seconds i get the error: "Error was encountered whil displaying Video" In the xterm which is running mythbackend, the following appears several times: Recording will not commence until a PMT is set. What does this mean and how can I get picture? |
