Post subject:  Linux won't start

Hi


**********FIXED*************



I have downloaded Knoppmyth R5F27 and burn to cd,
But when I tried to Boot it it failes I am using a blank hard drive and I have tested the cd using Knoppmyth testcd.

It gets to the first display (press F2/F3 for help & enter to boot) and when I press boot it starts its process with
Code:
MP-BIOS Bug: 8254 timer not connected to IO-APIC

PCI: Not using MMCONFIG

I havent coped all text - Dots where i have missed some ( Its was `ok/done`)

Then it starting `Killing`
And tells me to remove cd, close cd drive, and press enter
Then it Shuts Down

And never gets any further.

Any help would be great,

I have now completed installation, by using the boot `with bios problem` found by pressing F2

Didnt see it the first time :oops:
