Well the readme claims that 0172 should be supported:

Did you change any hardware (add, remove, or move any cards)?

I presume that this hardware system used to work.

You might try removing any new hardware and either reseating
all your cards or moving them around to different slots.

Also, make sure the room is cool for a test...

Yeah, I thought about this too.

I did not add any hardware. And the cooling conditions are the same as before. I have the system set in the bios to cut the system if the cpu temp gets out of control and that has not been occurring.

You are correct that this hardware worked prior to the upgrade. They only issue I had at the time was Xorg would peg on me sometimes and cause a lockup, but that did not happen very often.

I moved the case around a bit to install, well to be able to plug a ps2 keyboard in for the install at least, but I did not open the case at all. I may go through and reseat everything just to be sure.
