Post subject:  Video / Tuning Issues with Leadtek TV2000 XP RM

Hi i'm pretty much a complete linux newbie, so please go easy on me...

I've tried installing the 4V5 revision of KnoppMyth on my recently built Shuttle-based box, but i've encountered problems with the initial channel config.

I live in New Zealand and i can't seem to get any sort of automated channel scan working during the configuration stages - is this possible? I've run the machine under WinXP using the standard Leadtek tuning software, and was able to successfully tune each of the local antenna channels (noting the frequencies), along with using s-video to input a cable connection.

Under Myth i tried entering the same antenna frequencies, but can't seem to get a signal (beyond static) through the standard tv input. S-Video produces sound, but the image looks like its running at the wrong frequency or something (i've set all the defaults to PAL, which _should_ be appropriate), as the picture is basically useless.

Am i doing something wrong? do i have an issue with the Leadtek cards? Has anyone got any solutions/work-arounds for New Zealand TV?

search the forums for leadtek the 2000 doesn't detect properly and you need to tell bttv that it is card 34.
