Hi Folks!

1st: Knoppmyth is really a great piece of software. A big hail to the authors!

I have two small problems, with the Audio-Ripping (yes, indeed of cd's i BOUGHT) and with DVD-Ripping, so to say with the underlying cdparanoia and the libdvdread.

a) in case i.e. of pet shop boys disco3-cd (copy protected) the GUI says to me: only one track. google says to me that cdparanoia can sometimes do that with specific parameters.

any idea? or has anyone of you solved this with knoppmyth-utils?

b) blank, and new dvd's to rip is great. but the whole ripping crahes if only a small problems with bad sectors appear ... read some threads about libdvdread and error corrections even in changing read buffers.

also: anyone has solved such a problem? (i.e. buying a new dvd-rom?)
