I have a pvr 150 and a 250 in my backend. There is a very noticable difference in the volume between the two cards. They are both connect via tuner0 from the same feed, using a splitter. I'm not sure how to set the volume on the pvr card its self.

Any suggestions?

Known issue (see the IVTV wiki troubleshooting page for details). No easy solution.

The simplest method I've come up with is to use external tuner scripts that use the ivtv tools to set the channel and make volume and other adjustments. There are other possibilities with duplicating you video source and all your channels for each card or something that allows you to use two different recording profiles so you can have different settings on a card by card basis, but the external tuning script is by far the least complicated.

I got annoyed enough tonight to hack at this stuff until I had a more or less working solution. (tjc's first principle of engineering is "It annoyed me, so I fixed it.")

Give this a try and let me know how it works for you. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=58621
