I have in interesting thing with my remote and mplayer when watching a DVD I cann't rewind. When I press it all that it does is makes things go slower. I am using the default lircrc file that was installed with Knoppymyth 5C7. Has anyone else come across this with a streamsnap remote and mplayer and if so do you know the correct command to put in the lircrc file to fix it.

Or can someone tell me a good IR remote to use that works fully with mplayer.
