I am currently building a newer knoppmyth box.

I want to move a few shows from the old box to the new one.

It seems "nuvexport" would be the best way.
Both computers are connected to my network and are working.
I have started samba on the new box and have created a directory on the old box "myth2".
I have mounted the "/myth" directory on the new box to "myth2" of the old box.
I have found the shows I want to move with "nuvexport --title=myshow --search-only".
I cannot find any information on where to move the shows to i.e. which "directory" so the new box can find them and have them show up on the "watch recordings" menu.

I would like to have the shows on the new box menu just like they were recorded on it.

Thanks

You don't need to use nuvexport, just put the files in the recording directory on the new box and use the myth.rebuilddatabase.pl script to update the database with the old files.

Actually with mpeg-2 recordings from a PVR you loose markup information you can never get back that way. Using the nuvexport option that preserves the DB info is definitely better on that count.
