Long time user/first time poster

Just upgraded to the latest KnoppMyth from an older 0.16 manual install on Fedora.

So far loving it.

Is there a way to force an automatic rescan of the video/music folder so that I don't have to go into Video Manager each time I add new videos via the Samba share?

I've read about the "mythvideo-scan scripts/patches" from the MythTV mailing list (http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/dev/104294),but as this is over a year old I was wondering if this functionality has been built in to KnoppMyth, of if anyone knows of a way to run the "Video Manager" script manually or via cron?
