Anybody know how to tell myth to choose a specific card when choosing watch tv? I have adjusted the priorities in the setup accordingly but this appears to be for recording only.

Yeah, there is a little trick that can be done for Live TV.

For example, I have two ATI cards and 1 Hauppauge card. I prefer to watch Live TV on the Hauppauge, so I set it with a priority of -1 and the other cards at 1.

So now what happens is that the two cards set to 1 do most of the recording, and the Hauppauge is available for Live TV. I think this works because of the way MythTV does is scheduling for recording programs. I'm not sure how it all works exactly, but this slick trick works well for me. YMMV.

Thanks ... The problem is that I want both recordings and live tv to prefer my dvb cards since the quality is so much better than analog. I actually have the priority higher on the dvb cards - so the recoding part is OK but the live tv isn't ...
