Perhaps there's some really obvious solution to this, but I can't figure it out and it's bugging me.
In R5D1 there is an option for "MPEG-4 CD" in the Optical Disks menu; when clicked it causes a little window to open called "LIRC Navigator" via which, I can only assume, the user is supposed to choose the MP4 file they want to play back from the CD.
However, I can't get the $%#@& thing to close. I can use the left and right arrow keys, either on the keyboard or on my StreamZap remote, to move up and down the directory structure, and if I type in letters it will say "[typed letters] not found" in the bottom left of the window.... but I cannot get that window off of my screen. Ctrl-X, Ctrl-Z ... I've tried every combination I can think of, nothing will get rid of it.
Short of just hard-resetting the machine, or going in via SSH and killing the process, how are you supposed to make it go away? It seems like a really terrible design. (I see that it's been removed and the MPEG-4 CD features have been moved elsewhere in newer releases....)
Is there some magic command to quit LIRC Navigator? Or does it really just sit there until I pull the plug on the system?
I've read the README for lircnav, here, and it just says that it obeys the LIRC command "quit," but I have no idea how to issue that. When I press the stop button or the power button on my StreamZap remote, which is how I normally exit out of screens in MythTV, it doesn't do a darn thing.
