Do you currently do comflag and transcoding jobs? Just wondering if your jobs are not starting at all for some reason no matter what they are.

Also, there is somewhere I seem to recall that you had to check for custom jobs to be enabled. I can look tonight when I get home if you don't see it and post the path to it.

Hi Wmcvetty,

I do cut the commercials. I also use transcode. Here are my nuvoptions I use in the myth2xvid script:

my $nuvoptions ="--transcode --mode=XviD --nice=19 --cutlist --nodenoise --nodeinterlace --crop --multipass";


I can not find the place where to enable custom jobs. If you could find it, it would be creat. I also will keep looking and if I find it I will place it on this topic.

Thanks for your help. Please note that the script is running OK when running it from the command prompt.

Well, if you are able to run the other jobs then that kinda throws that idea out. I was hoping that no jobs would leave the queued status.

This is what I was talking about, from my memory there was as checkbox that you had to enable before the user job would run - but that is just off the top of my head.

Looks like it was in mythtv-setup -> General -> Job Queue (maybe 6 pages in).

Wmcvetty, you are brilliant! :D

You have to enable the job in the Myth Setup. You are totally right.
I did this now and the job status is now running!! So I expect that it will work.

Thanks, I am so happy now. This simple thing took me about three weeks... :?
