Democracy Player doesn't really work on my R5F1 install. It's installed, but it looks like it's having some issues. Im going to remove and reinstall it

when you run it from the command line it says:

Has anyone been able to successfully use this off a R5F1 install?

Been working fine most times for me, except It is a fairly slow responsive program and the program some times hangs after I've watched a show.

Would be great if it was better integrated in to the mythtv gui.

Hi iluciv,

In my R5F1 install, I am able to navigate my way to:
Main > Media Library > Internet Streams > Democracy Player. As for UI userbility: I would advise against hav menus four level deep.

I get arond this most of the time by using the virtual (web) remote control. That was an excellent idea. Wish it was user extensible (i.e. easy enough for a noob to add a button).

I have been having problems with the version that comes with R5F1 so wanted to download the newest version. If I do an apt-get install democracyplayer it says I have the lastest which I know I don't. So I did an apt-get update to get the latest updates and I get the error. There is no public key available for the following key IDs: B5DOC804ADB11277.

Anyone got any ideas?
