Okay, I know that there's a script out there to convert my myth recordings to ipod format. However, I have a bunch of other videos that I use myth to play. I'd like to convert some of those to ipod format so I can take them over to a friends house and play on their tv. Any suggestions on how to do that?

If you run a Windows PC, there's a free program called "Super" that'll convert just about anything.

Someone else mentioned that, and upon googling I found the following site.

http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

However, when I click on the download link all the way at the bottom, it takes me to another page. When I click on the download on that page, it takes me to the original page. So I seem to be missing something.

Okay, I was able to convert some videos and get them to play using SUPER. However, when I select ipod 5.5 from the menu, the resulting videos won't work. I have use the mp4 option and encode in mp4, not h264. Any ideas?

Also, how can I get the KM metadata into itunes? Right now when I import a show, it dumps it into movies, and I want it in tv shows instead.

This isn't a Windows support forum. Find the "super" mailing list or forum or take it off topic.

AFAIK, the myth2ipod script doesn't handle that.

VLC can do that task - it is loaded with the most recent versions. Check the VLC forums for specifics on this
