First of all, I am starting with a fresh install of R5C7. When I answered "yes" to the "Would you like to configure your PVR350 to use it's TV out", upon system reboot, I get an X error. So I reinstalled and said "no", and will configure the TV manual.

I have been having trouble with the IR Blaster, but I am close. When I run the channel_change.sh script manual, the channel is changed correctly. When I change channels in MythTV, I get unexpected channel changes (I type in '23', and the TV changes to 169, then to 50, then back to 169, etc.). I am close, but where am I going wrong?

I am using a Motorola DCT2524, with a PVR350.

Thanks in advance.

I found the problem... In mythtv-setup, in the channel editor option, all the channels had a large frequency (used for cable). When I switched the frequency to the actual channel number, everything worked. But there are over 150 channels, there must be a better way!

Hi therntier,

Can't help with the blaster however for the xserver, when you did the install the first time you probably selected the splash and then tv out for 350? If so you have two options, A select no boot splash B select boot splash then edit the FX86Config-4 file and change the fb0 to be fb1 before you reboot. The splash is first so it grabs fb0.
