Post subject:  problem installing mondo/mindi in R5C7

Hi all. I wanted to try the backup server to DVD fromthe How-to, but am having trouble getting the two packages installed. As suggested in the How-To, I added the two deb sites to the /etc/apt/sources.list and ran the apt-get update, followed my apt-get install mindi. Unfortunately, mindi needs dosfstools and ms-sys. Do I need to add other source to the sources.list file or uncomment certain other ones? mondo is having similar problems with 4-5 missing packages.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Solved!

NOTE: I have edited the BackServerToDVD How-To to suggest this solution if someone has this problem.

I used the SwitchingToStableAPTRepository How-To to solve this problem. I added the following 3 sources to the beginning of the /etc/apt/sources.list file.

deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian stable main contrib non-free
deb http://non-us.debian.org/debian-non-US stable/non-US main contrib non-free
deb http://security.debian.org stable/updates main contrib non-free

Then accroding to the How-To:

Install your program from the stable repository and then switch the repository back to unstable.

Installing both mindi and mondo worked with issue using this approach.
