After scanning all posts here for the last few days, I've decided to ask for help.

My system crashed (well, the / partition filled up, due to the mysql.log being huge and I didn't know to watch it.) When I figured out what was going on, and removed the log (/var/logs/mysql/mysql.log, I think it was) and restarted the system everything seemed fine... but...

My Program Guide has lost all the data, and only shows "Unknown" for all channels. (It was working just fine previously).

I've run mythfilldatabase, and was getting the "no need to update info already exists for X days" (also tried --refresh-today, and --refresh-all) It seems to be running just fine. I've deleted all of my channels and card setup info (for some reason, when I run myth-setup, I don't get prompted to delete this, like I used to), re-booted and re-set them up, and re-run mythfilldatabase (as mythtv), and my status says "successfull" and that I have guide data for 14 days, but still getting the "Unknown" for all channels. I've checked my zap2it account and everything seems fine.

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps checking the db for errors?

Well... I was about to ask "how do I do that", when I found this post...

http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10249

I followed the instructions for checking the DB (my mythconverg.oldrecorded table was bad) and recovered it!!!

This also prompted me to try to learn a little more about MySQL, which is good.

Anyway, it looks like everything is back to normal.
