Post subject:  Looking for I810 XF86Config-4 Samples and XVideo Support

I've managed to install R5C7 on a Dell GX270, and must admit everything went rather smoothly. Being a MythTV and Linux newbie, I was pretty impressed.

I did the original install with a CRT monitor hooked up, but am now getting ready to move to TV. I've read the wiki and some other suggestions here on configuring the XF86Config-4 file correctly, but was wondering if anyone had any sample files or suggestions for best performance for an i810 out to TV.

If it makes a difference, I'm planning on using some sort of VGA to composite or other video connection converter. The PC is equipped with an onboard Intel Extreme Graphics 2 (i810) with no TV-out.

It's a small form factor machine with no room for a different video card (if I want to leave room for a TV tuner on the only PCI slot).

On a similar note, when I envoke XVinfo, I'm informed that XVideo is not working with this driver. I've played a few DVDs on this box and haven't had any performance issues, but haven't really tried to tweak any of my video settings yet (nor have I really wanted to). Does anyone have XVideo cooperating with an i810 driver? Like I said, I'm not having any issues at the moment... just trying to be a little proactive I guess..

Thanks,
Lee
