Running R5C7 on a P4 with a nvidia 5500. Problem was that the tv screen was shifted to the right too much, so I go into the nvidia settings and adjust the picture where it fits the screen. Everything is fine until I reboot, then the picture is again shifted to the right. I go back to the command line and type "nvidia-settings" and when I press enter the screen automatically resizes itself perfectly, so I think that the nvidia settings aren't being properly loaded when the machine boots up. Is there away to make these settings take effect upon booting? Thanks in advance! Gary |

Searching the forums or the wiki for nvidia-settings should quickly turn up how to run this automatically when the fluxbox window manager starts up. For example: http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic. ... gs+fluxbox |

Thanks for the info. By the way, I searched for almost an hour on this topic and never found a listing for it. Maybe I wasn't searching for the right "terms". |
