| Post subject: | MythMusic error on a frontend system |
I am getting a error on my frontend system when tring to play music. The error is "MythMusic has encountered the following error: DecoderOgg: Failedtoopen input. Error 5." I am see the music from my backend system and select it and that is when I get the error. I am running Knoppmyth 5C7. Thanks for your help. |

You're not seeing the music on the backend, you are seeing the contents of the db. Does the music exist on the same path on both systems? It must. http://mysettopbox.tv/linhes.html |

I was checking out that link that you gave me and when I was in the middle of it was thinking this seems like a lot of work. So I was wondering if there was an easier way. I starting thinking about how I make the video work by editing the /etc/fstabs file and putting the info for the video directory. So I tought I would try the same for music so I added the line to /etc/fstabs 10.1.1.6:/myth/music /myth/music nfs defaults,auto,noatime 0 0 I still got the error so I thought to check out the music settings under setup so I did and they were pointed to /mnt/store/music so I changed it to be /myth/music and it worked. Thanks for the link becuase it got me thinking to try it this way. Hopefully this info will help others. |
