I have a digital cable box that I get a handful of movie channels on. I just added a second tuner, but with only a few extra channels on digital vs. straight cable, it doesn't really make any sense for me to rent out a second cable box. Is there a way to configure MythTV so that it understands that both tuners' lineups match on the non-digital channels, and that either tuner can record the non-digital lineups, but when it comes to the digital channels only the first tuner may be used for recording? |

two separate zap2it accounts one for each capture card...only include digital channels on one of the lineups |

Setup a first lineup with everything, and generate a second reduced lineup from the first. Search for my update_database.sh script which shows how to do this. http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=10075 Note that the DB schema has changed slightly in the newer versions so you may need to add a column or two to match the current state of affairs. |

The one thing that doesn't take care of is adding an entry to the videosource table (I was merging two into one rather than creating a partial clone), but you only need to do that once anyway. |
