Not sure if this is the exact spot for such a question but.... How can i make software compatable with my hardware. What is it that has to be done, just driver issues or what? I'm no programmer but would be nice to know. Maybe i will be able to read up on some programming enough to make my hardware work. |

lol, ok, i was just wondering if i had to create some kind of driver or something. What i have is Asus P4C-800 2.4 GHz P4 Sony DVD-RW Radeon 9600 512MB DDR 433 Corsair 80 gig SATA 1.5 I don't have a tuner cvard yet but its in the mail. pchdtv5500. Would it be easier to just install something like fedora or will i still run into the same problems as this knopp stuff once i have myth installed ever fedora? |

You might have problems with that radeon but everything else looks pretty standard. There are a handful of ATi users around, they can help you if you run into trouble. |

Hi Do an install and see what comes up, the folks on the forum will do their best to get you going. If worse case you may have to use "vesa" as a video driver, it is generic but works well and will get you started. Don't need a tuner card to get started with KnoppMyth, only to watch tv
