I'm sure for most of you this will be easy, but..
I need to re run mythtv-setup, and when i do i get an error that it can't open the x session... ?? What do I need to do?

from your desktop on the backend open an xterm and type "su" and put in the root
password.

then type mythtv-setup

Odd, when I tried with su - it gave an error cannot connect to x server, just su worked fine ?? go figure.

su - pulls in root env, su will use existing evn and just change your uid=0.
