Shame.. Why is it too difficult? Is waiting an hour or to too long? |

Attempting to do the same thing, with completely no help. For the record, the guy waited over 12 hours. Same issue, same error, totally no help from anywhere. wmc it is. This is the down-side of opensource. I'm quite sure it is a simple make issue, but if you are a n00b, "go back to Windows" is the type of help I've been getting. It's been 20 days and he...and I...have no useful replies. That is waiting too long. |

Didn't know you were waiting... There used to be instructions at www.knoppmythwiki.org for installing ndiswrapper (that's what I used). However, they seem to be missing. The problem with the instructions in the other message that's referenced is that the kernel files weren't untarred. If you use these instructions as a guide: http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/medi ... ebianSarge you should be able to do a little digging around here and the wiki to glean enough info to make them work. I would provide you with more details, but I am not Linux-savvy enough to give you good instructions. |
