Is there a way to set up an 8 second skip back like how tivo does it? |

Yes. I don't know exactly where but it is in the playback settings somewhere. |

It's hidden in the "playback groups". Under Settings, playback? Edit the "default" one. I set mine for 30 sec fwd, 10 sec back. And then the "jump" I set to 10 min. For me, they work with the arrow keys (left/right are skip, up/down are jump), and it's the same way with the arrow buttons on the remote. |

I was looking for a seperate key to do it, though. I have sticky keys set, so I can ff and rew without having to keep hitting the button. |
