I am working on making a backend server so I can run myth on all the tv's in the house with frontend workstations. I have R5D1 runnind with my 2 150 and 1 250 cards just fine. The system has 4 300 gig hard drives. I installed knoppixmyth on the first drive and want to take the other 3 drives and create a raid 0 for all my music and vid files. I can create and mount the raid fine using mdadm but I can not get it to save after a reboot. I ran:

mdadm --detail --scan >> /etc/mdadm.conf

and my /etc/mdadm.conf shows my information as:

ARRAY /dev/md0 level=raid0 num-devices=3 UUID=276bd1fa:73dbbfc5:306d7b17:c84e962
4
devices=/dev/hdf,/dev/hdg,/dev/hdh

When I reboot the server, the mdadm.conf file is gone.

I kind of remember somewhere that knoppixmyth resets some settings upon a reboot but in searching the forums, I can not remember where this is located. Any help is much appreciated.
