I've noticed that on channels 2-6 (especially channel 6) the reception on my ATI TV Wonder cards is not that great, yet, the Hauppauge PVR-150 the reception is much improved.

So I'm thinking, wondering actually, if there is a way to force the PVR-150 to record on channels 2-6 and have the ATI cards record channels 7-80. This is probably something very simple no doubt, and I am just ignorant in my search terms or something, but any ideas on this topic would be appreciated.

I have a similar situation, where two of my channels just don't like to record on my Air2PC5000, but everything records great on the PCHD3000.

There are two approaches.
You can set up two sources, as you would if one were on antenna and the other on cable or sat. Assign one to one card, the other to the other card. On the card that has trouble, delete the stations that it doesn't like, as if they weren't available.
You may need to re-name channels so that you can keep them straight.

Alternately, you can use priority. Give the "good" card higher priority, and give the troublesome channels higher priority. Everything being equal, Myth will schedule the tricky channels onto the good card. That's what I'm doing now, and it's working reasonably well. The problem is, I've got TWO channels with trouble, NBC and ABC, and now CW has a subchannel on the ABC station, so I've got conflicts within those stations, and every once in a while a recording will get shoved onto the other card.
CBS, PBS, and FOX record great on either one.

I'm tempted to get one of those older-gen Air2PC cards on eBay, but I fear that it'll behave more like the newer Air2PC cards and not the PCHD3000. Conversely, the PCHD5500 has a newer chip, and I fear that it'll behave like the Air2PC5000 instead of the older PCHD3000. So I'm hoping to find an older PCHD3000, which I know will work.
I've got tricky reception, only 11 mi from the towers (they're all together) but I've got multipath issues, and sit down kind of low in a valley.
