Post subject: | Broken MythBurnDVD |
I was playing with the script mythlink.sh One of those 3am "good ideas" I have just upgraded my box to R5D1...my problem is burning TV show backups to DVD. I had mythburnDVD working, and then ran the script mythlink.sh for some reason I can't even remember now. When I try to burn a show now i get this error message: Quote: MythBurn Script is running as user mythtv Video format = NTSC Background image = /myth/mythburn/images/backgrounds/sea_scene.png Background music = /myth/mythburn/music/silence.mp2 Make ISO image = no Burn to DVD-R = yes Delete VIDEO_TS = no Highlight image = bar.png Animated thumbnails = no Chapter Submenus = no Recode to AC3 = yes MythTV files are in /myth/tv File Nova does not exist! This is the file I am trying to burn from /myth/tv Quote: Nova - 2006-11-21, 8-00 PM - NOVAscienceNOW.nuv
I am assuming the problem is the spaces in the file name, based off of looking at the error. MythburnDVD works: I have burned newer TV shows, with the file names such as 1045_20061127122850.mpg. I doubt that the .nuv extension is the problem as I burned them before running the script. Do you have any idea about how to fix this? -maybe a tweak of the script to remove the spaces, turn them in to "_". Thank you so much for taking the time to ponder this. Chris |

Post subject: | Solution |
Marc.aronson hooked me up with the solution: Code: /usr/local/bin/mythrename.pl --underscores
Now all the filenames have a underscores and mythburndvd is ever so happy! |
