Hi New user to myth TV plse help.
1. When viewing a recorded DVD the picture is too small on the screen how can I change the size?
2. When I play DVD I cannot get the DVD to play via the remote only with the M key on key board how can I cahange this. I have tried going into edit keys but without success.

Which player are you using? For xine or mplayer you need to have an appropriate set of mappings in your "/home/mythtv/.mythtv/lircrc" which match the button definitions in "/etc/lirc/lircd.conf". Searching for those file names should find some examples...

Thanks for response. I have a Xine player. How do you get the file manager up to check the files? and then what do you do? Appreciate help.

There is no GUI file manager. Alt-X will bring up a shell window, and you can learn more basics here: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page=LinuxTips

This is one of those projects where you really need to learn at least a few Unix skills if you want to customize things, but don't worry, it hardly hurts at all.
