Hello, I'm currently testing the waters on an upgrade to R5E50 and have run into a problem enabling XDMCP. In the releases that used GDM, enabling it was as simple as running gdm-setup and clicking the checkmark for it and then connecting via xming. Now that GDM is gone where should I look for that setting? Last I checked the changelog wasn't up yet, so if someone knows what display manager is used in the new version that would be helpful too.

I have worked around the situation by just using putty, but I would prefer the old system as I'm on a secure network and don't need the extra security overhead.

Thanks!

Yeah, I saw that and it's basically the workaround I've been using. The results are basically the same, I'm just trying to cut out the ssh step since I'm on a secure network and don't really need it. With GDM it was easy to do and I think the only part I'm missing is telling the display manager in R5E50 to accept xdmcp requests from the network. Any idea which one they're using now? I didn't see any evidence of the ones I've heard of (kdm, xdm).

Thanks for replying.
