I've used these hints to set up outside access to Mythweb using port forwarding and DYDNS. Everything works as it should, once I figured out I have to use two accounts, one for the home ip address and another to redirect to the mythweb server running on my MBE. Now, I need to figure out how to change the default password I configured for MythWeb to something more secure. As it is now, it's just mythtv as user, and mythtv as a password, since mythweb was previously behind a firewall and only accessible from the internal network. How do I change the password? Will changing the password for mythweb also affect the mythtv user password elsewhere in knoppmyth? DaveJ45 |
