Hi All,

Just completed a fresh install of R5E50. All went well apart from the graphs in the RRD Tools section. I have checked that the scipts work, which they do but they do not run via the pre-created cron job. The cron log shows that the job runs a the correct time but no update to the graphs.

Any one able to help with this.

Try adding a schedule to root's cron # crontab -e
*/5 * * * * /etc/cron.hourly/km_rrd

Note * are seperated with a space * as is the first /

do an ls of /etc/cron.hourly to confirm file name as this is from memory. Running only once perhour doesn't seem to be enough samples. There are other ways also but this works too.

Many thanks MJL. That was spot on, got myself some graphs now. looks like my MythTV server is all setup and running as I want it.
