| Post subject: | How-to Access FM tuner card |
I am trying to access the FM tuner on my Winfast2000. Looking at the available applications I planned on using the radio application that is part of xawtv, but I can't seem to find that application even after I successfully install the latest xawtv, plugins and tools. Any suggest how I can access the FM tuner in my mythbox? Thanks, Mike G. |

Perhaps a Google for MythRadio? Perhaps a search of the MythTV mailing archive for MythRadio? |

I have tried MythFM but was unsuccessful. MythFM did not meet my requirements. I would like a more general application to control the FM tuner and to pipe the Radio stream to a shout cast server so that I can listen to the radio in my office. Also I was hoping to use the Xawtv radio application to verify FM tuner functionality so that I can debug MythFM. Thanks, Mike G. |

You say you were unsuccessful, was that with mythFM in general or just the streaming to your office? which FM tuner do you have? |

Update: Just found a link to the latest source: http://www.mythtvtalk.com/forum/viewtop ... ght=mythfm http://digitalboy.mythtvtalk.com/files/ ... rc.tar.bz2 Does anyone have the source code for MythFM? The website is permenantly down. If so, please reply to this thread, and I'll pm you with an e-mail and website where I am willing to mirror it. Thanks, Brian |
