Post subject:  How to properly delete channels?

Since I have a QAM tuner, and there's really no way to specify the channels it gets (at least to me who is very new to this), What is the PROPER way to delete all the "unknown" and "bad" channels it finds when doing the QAM scan?

There's only like 10 channels it can get (that are in the clear). The other 200 or so are all encrypted QAM, but it gets a lock on them anyway.

Do I use the mythweb to delete the channels?

Is there something else I should be doing?

Mythweb will allow you select multiple channels at the same time so making it easier to delete them.
I don't think it makes any difference between deleting them in Mythweb or using the Channel Editor.

Okay, thanks. I just freaked out when I saw the "warning" in mythweb about doing things that may screw up my machine.

Although I've not seen how to delete specific channels in Channel Editor. I can delete them all, but didn't see a way to highlight/select specific ones and delete them.

In Channel Editor, just highlight the offending channel and press 'D' on the keyboard. Works in most places, actually.
