I have searched around to find this issue, and my apologies for not being at my computer to post any logs - but I thought I would go ahead and throw it out there.

When watching Live TV and then going back to the Media Library I see entries for the shows that have been recorded. But when I schedule a recording All seems to go well, except for it showing in the Media Library. I went to the Information Center and it lists the recordings in the System section where I can delete them, and also it shows the Job for the commercial flagging there.

Is there a missing link that I have not thought of? Does the system make an entry to the database that would be different than the one it makes for the Live TV recordings?

Sorry for the lack of logs, if there are certain ones that would be good to post here I will grab them out when I get off work.

Edit: I checked from another console, and in /myth/tv there are both the live recordings, and at least one of the scheduled that I opened with vlc, so they are being recorded.

You are filtering the recordings. Turn off the filter. It's easy to turn it on by mistake, especially if the backend isn't running and the list is blank when you come in.

Not to be a newbie, but where do you set or un-set this filter, I have been looking around all the manuals and nobody is talking about it.
