Post subject: | Can't watch tv or schedule a recording (R5E50) |
It is probably a simple noob thing, but I cannot view TV or schedule a recording. I installed R5E50 on a machine with a PVR-150 and a Kworld ATSC-110. I only set up the PVR-150 as the video card, using DataDirect as the video source. No obvious (to me) problem with it, and no errors in the log. If I try to WatchTV, I get a dialog box saying "MythTV is already using all available inputs for the channel you selected." I'm not recording anything, so this seems an odd message. If I try to schedule a recording, I can go to the program guide, pick a program and bring up the screen for recording. I change from "Do not record this program" to "Record only this showing", then "Save these Settings". The frontend logs show it doing a database update, but that doesn't seem to change anything. Nothing indicates the show will be recorded. There's no indication in the guide listings (I don't know if there should be one, but I would expect it), I have no upcoming recordings, and previously recorded comes up with only "No listings found for this program." The only place that shows an indication of my attempts is under delete recordings, where it shows a 10 minute segment I tried to record last night has 0 GB It is probably some simple configuration error (or errors), but I haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks for any help. I'm hoping to get this working in time to record a skating program for my wife tonight. |

See: http://www.knoppmythwiki.org/index.php? ... WatchingTV I'm guessing you missed or overdid the "Input Connection" part, but I'd recommned going through the whole thing just in case. Where there's one configuration error there's often more. |
