| Post subject: | disappearing listings with r5d1 |
Hey all - Odd problem here... running r5d1 on a homebuilt box, and using cablevision (long island, ny)... and every now and again, the listings just disappear. I'll turn my myth box on one day, everything will be fine. I'll turn it on the next day, go to record something, and every channel will be listed as unknown, as will the program guide. So I can still record stuff, just have to do it manually - like starting at 225 for 40 minutes so I know I get the whole program. I COULD upgrade to r5e50 (going from c7 to d1 fixed it the last time this happened), but wouldn't that blow away everything else I have on the computer? Or no? I think I just flat out reinstalled it to go to d1, didn't upgrade it, if memory serves, so I don't know much about upgrading in KM. Any thoughts suggestions, ANYTHING anyone can come up with would be appreciated... -CB |

Also, before I forget - rebooting doesn't help, nor does running mythfilldatabase (but without any flags - is there a flag I should be trying to run it with?) |
