Loved this feature in the previous version. But went to use it in this current version. Have looked around for information, but I must not be looking in the right spots!! If someone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!! |

I think the new plugin is called MythArchive. You'll find it in the CD/DVD menu and it's called "Archive DVD" or something similar. |

Any way to get the web interface back? I don't use my server directly. I have a xbox frontend and mvp frontend. To burn backups, I create an iso and copy it over the network and burn them on my mac. |

There is no web frontend for mytharchive. But, why no use VNC? |

That's an option. It was a lot easier for wife to create a DVD with the web interface, that is what she is the most comfortable with. It was pretty good, because it would remember you last burn. If the mytharchive interface have presets that might help, it is confusing with so many options and takes some time to select the correct options. Also I was thinking about creating a php page to dvd index/covers to print out for each archive. Something like this http://www.aczoom.com/tools/cdinsert/ |

I really liked the web interface, too. I don't have a DVD writer in my Myth box so I used to use the web interface to set up the menu and such, but then not burn the DVD (since I don't have any optical drives in my Myth box) but to just make the DVD file system. Then, I'd use Nero to use that DVD image to create the DVD. It appears that this archive function is unavailable to me since I don't have a DVD burner in my Myth box? Or am I missing something? I never get any options to create the menu, or burn the DVD! If I'm outta luck on this, I vote to add the web interface to burn DVDs in a future release! I'm running a very slow PC as my Myth box. It responds pretty slow to the remote commands. The web interface was faster for me. Are there any other options for me to burn DVDs from my recordings? I suppose I can transfer the files to my PC and then use Sony Vegas or a video editing program to create DVDs. But the old web interface was much easier... |
