I just got back to my box this afternoon. It has been running fine for the wife.
Anyway, just snooping around doing some checks and I noticed current logfiles were showing Dec 2003 for the date.
I checked System time and it was showing hardware and System time both as Dec 2003.

I have reset them and I have the DST patch listed elsewhere here.

Could be just a random anamoly, I will keep an eye on it.
I checked various places and I can't see where the box might have gotten attacked, etc. No random traffic showing in my Logs....

Anyway, everything seemed to be working fine just the date was wacky!

btw this was on my MBE/FE the newer of my boxes.

My date screwed up a year ago, right after new year. Maybe on new year's day? It was set 10 years into the future or something silly like that. I noticed because nothing was recording.

Well my Mythboxes transitioned through this DST just fine.
I am really confused about what happened there and the interesting thing is it only surfaced when I logged in yesterday. It had been recording just fine throughout the week while I was away.
When I found this an corrected it, I had to do some surgery in various places because it began to mark a bunch of older Movies I was trying to capture as "already recorded"

Fwiw, and for edification the only way I found to get those to capture or sit in waiting was to go into my previously recorded list and delete them. They all showed up as recorded and were 1 byte files. Once I removed the previously recorded instance it began working as it should.

Anyway, I can't see any other issues from this random date issue, and everyone is happy this am. We will just chalk this one up to "Ghost's in the Shell" The anime my son is capturing that failed and prompted me to look at the box.

Thanks Again.
