Hi I've question : the image is chopped when I send it to the tv but not on crt screen. I tried to adjust with the settings in the tv playback but w/o success. How could I solved that problem ? Thanks Yhan |

What you are looking for is called overscan and it is done differently depending on what video card you have. |

Hi My video card is an ATI Mobilty Fire GL 9000 (card provided with IBM T40p) How could I adjust or teak that ? Thanks Yhan |

I guess the first question would be how did you get it working, ati cards are notoriously bad with tvout on linux, and there are a couple of different drivers that may partially work. |

I'm using the frontend from the knoppmyth cd, and I tried the command atitvout ntsc -f t |

I really don't think you are going to have much luck adjusting it when running the frontend from cd, as most of the adjustments must be made in the XF86Config-4 file, and I'm pretty sure that will be read-only when running from cd. |

well I can modify that file, but what i'd like to do, is to run the frontend from my laptop, from a cd or network I would prefer modify the knoppMyth cd or create a network boot installation for my laptop. You replied me in a previous post, that some users reports how they do to customize the boot cd, do you remember in which section of the forum ? Thanks Yhan |
