| Post subject: | DVD Stops Playing |
I've got a problem where a DVD suddenly stops playing in mythtv. This behavior has terrible "wife acceptance factor." In a regular dvd player, the same movie pauses for a split-second skips a moment then goes on. So, something is clearly wrong with the disk, but that's not my question. Is there some way to get the same kind of error handling in mythtv so I can get rid of the old dvd player? |

My only suggestion is to try different players. Instead of mplayer (the default), try Xine or internal? If it is a commercial disk, and you are using that illegal CSS software that we shouldn't talk about in the USA, it is likely that this error on the disk cannot be worked around. |
