Post subject: | Is it possible to "stack" video files? |
Hi. I have movies that are on two files, movie.cd1.avi & movie.cd2.avi. My question is, is there a way in myth to "stack" the files together so they appear as one file. I use XBMC to playback movies and when I select the stack option, the movie appears as one file so I don't have to select movie.cd2.avi to play the second part of the movie. If there's a way to do this, I would definitely be interested.T hanks in advance. |

Not sure if this is functionality that you are seeking, but in MythVideo, it is possible to tell the player to automatically play a second file after the first file is done playing. Hence, no need to stitch files together literally; you can do so "logically" through the Video Manager in MythVideo. You did not mention that you were playing these files through Myth specifically, but just in case, thought it might be helpful. |
