I can't seem to get KM to Auto play a dvd when inserted. I have set dvd/cd monitor to on. Still no go. Is there something else to do? I would also like to CD's to play automagicly. Using version R5D1 |

I don't believe anything will play automatically, what it will do is detect what is inserted and take you to the menu for that particular type of media. |

the options are: Play dvd, Rip dvd, display mythdvd menu, Do nothing. And right now it does nothing...But i have it set to Play DVD... |

Could you give us the menu where this settings are and I will test it on my system at home, as I was not aware that you could set it to that level. I simply thought that it would take you to the menu and wait for your command. |

it's in General settings for DVD. Last option called 'On DVD insertion' |

I find it last night and tried it and it worked fine. Put a commercial DVD in my DVD player and it started to play. You could check /var/log/messages as this may have some info on what is happening when you insert the DVD, just a thought. |
