I would like to password protect the setup option in the KnoppMyth main menu (so you would have to enter a number sequence from the remote). This seems pretty basic, but searching the forum and wiki for both KnoppMyth and MythTV did not turn anything up.

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I think there's something in the setting screens themselves. Probably under General... Looks like the DB entry is "SetupPinCodeRequired". From the Main menu the path is:
Utilities/Setup -> Setup -> General -> 5th screen
There are two settings at the top of that page, a check box to enable it and a PIN code.
