| Post subject: | Slave backend unable to play recordings |
I just upgraded my slave backend to R5F1 and went through the process of reconnecting it to my master. I've made sure my mater backend is accessible from the network, and that the ip addresses are correct in both the setup for the backend and frontend. On the slave all my recordings show up in media library, however when I try to play them the screen goes blank for a second and then pops back to the watch recordings screen. The funny thing is that the preview plays just fine in that menu, so the two servers are talking to each other. I had this working well on R5E50, and the only thing that has changed in terms of hardware is that I removed the tuner I had in the slave backend (no cable feed, but wanted it to help with transcoding and comm flagging). Any clues as to what might be wrong? Thanks |

As a followup I tried just telling the frontend to connect to my master backend and that worked perfectly for some reason, so there's something wrong with the connection between the master and slave backend. Could it be some sort of timeout issue? |
